Garden Update #2

The garden is coming along fine. We already have little roma tomatoes, and the raspberries are almost ready for picking. Our purple potatoes are peaking through the soil, but the yukon golds are late bloomers. We've had bad luck with potatoes in the past. Bugs. But we never sprayed. This year we are going to use an organic spray. We can't take a chance and allow our hard work to go down the toilet. The corn is about 6 or 8 inches high, the green beans about 4 or so. We have harvested three cuts of mesclun greens, rommaine, and iceburg luttuces. Yum!  And if you are hungry for strawberries, they are almost through. So hurry and get some strawberry shortcake, strawberry rhubard nutty crumble, or our tunnel of fudge cake with "Out of the Dirt" Farm's strawberries. Heck, top it off with our homemade vanilla bean ice cream!!!  Food is amazing, and God is so so good to us!

What a find (in a land of corn and fried chicken)!

Blue Plate Special-what a misnomer- makes it sound like Diner food.  today- it was a wonderful and unusual stuffed red pepper.

The potato and leek soup is a treat of lovely vegetables in a creamy base.

The pasta paparadelle in a spinach cream sauce with airport chicken breast and a portobello mushroom was very tasty but yet light.

I only wish we could have stayed for dinner instead of going back to Cleveland.

Hope this restaurant grows.  Truly THE BEST fine cuisine in the area.

Hi Kent and Saran,

We had one of the most special nights of our lives last night.  The limo was cool, but the food was spectacular!  We couldn't stop talking about it the whole way home.

Thank you so very much for making our 30th Wedding Anniversary celebration the best one yet!  You two are such a blessing to us!

Love to our dear brother and sister in Christ,

Mike and Jane :)

This spring, a group of 8 local vegan friends gathered at Table for a delightful eating experience. By making reservations one week in advance, Kent was able to accommodate the meat, dairy, and eggless palates. Our meals were tasty, colorful, and full of rich vegetable and grain flavors and textures. He provided choices in each category and the meals were plated with attention to visual interest.

Table is a rare find in rural Ohio and I highly recommend it! Thank you, Kent - we'll be back!
